Welcome to the last month of summer officially here in the northern hemisphere. Some life topics this week, starting off with the question of whether or not any of you have considered moving to another country before? It’s lot more nuanced then it seems, but some folks do it quite regularly. Megan and Ben show us how it works in Japan, and a 21 year old me in the past would of MURDERED people for that $300 apartment at 9:51 in the video.
This game came up on my Steam recommendation feed, and it’s apparently a somewhat lewd (?) auto battler gacha style game that’s free to play with microtransactions. Also, it’s hilariously buggy and constantly getting patched daily. It’s called Monmusu and you can see it here. Speaking of patches, the game has a Discord where you can get an “alternative art” patch, but it only makes the characters lewder but no real nudity. Things have been slow, so the game is worth checking out if you’re just morbidly curious about something that can kill a little time. Thanks to Maeka Amaya for looking at it.
Bringing up another game that was recently released on Steam, I think many of you might have forgotten about Horizon Walker. I mentioned this game a while back and played it for a while. It’s fine as a good time killer, although I really wish it had more waifu types. Still the ones they do include are pretty top tier, so if you haven’t checked it out already and want to play in PC - now you can. Keep in mind it’s riddled with a ton of bugs, so patience is strongly recommended.
I’m declaring synthwave September a thing. So I’ll be uploading a recommendation every week for you to check out. We start with a cozy one from Kalax, which will easily be making a return a few times in the future for sure. But for now you don’t think, and just listen with the vibes.
