It’s rare to talk about YouTube in any positive light, but this particular video from GamersNexus has a somewhat happy ending. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with YouTube being virtuous. It has everything to do with showing the rest of us how things work and what to do if you’re dependent on the platform. A ton of nuance in the audio blog of course, but it’s nice to see the good guys win one once in a while.
Anchor Panic technically released last week, but of course I finish my weekly news updates far ahead of the Saturday night deadline. Still, it has had some time to cook in the oven since release and it looks interesting enough to share with all of you to check out. It has a PC client by the way, which gets bonus points from me automatically. Thanks to Samool for the insightful video.
Synthwave September continues with a rather nostalgia bait music video admittedly. But that doesn’t take anything away from the song itself, which is rather catchy and chill. The artist(s) in question is actually a group called Retrosync that does a lot of thematic 80’s style videos, and you can check out their channel for a lot more songs.
Artist is Secretly Saucy
Artist of the week is not an unfamiliar face, as they have been mentioned a lot in the past and will continue to be mentioned until morale improves. Or maybe I just really adore one of their OC characters and she thematically fits the “end of summer’ thing I have going on. In any case, please visit the talented Secretly Saucy on any of their socials and send them a nice word for their work.
