Very brief update this week due to the upcoming schedule at the end of month. In other words, I’m going to have you all tied up in internet mysteries while I look for more topics to talk about later in the month. So our good friend Connor’s Curiosities will start you off with an appetizer of strange things in the world.
There has been an extremely disturbing amount of video theft on YouTube recently, so I just wanted to make this a short PSA to verify what you’re watching isn’t an AI generated profit farm. Upcoming content creators like Threadbare work hard to do the research and narrate their stuff. I’ve literally seen 1:1 AI bot channels repost a video with AI narration, and they’re quite literally in the hundreds. You’ve been informed I hope.
This video is really for Nikke fans, but I’ll try to make the talking points as universal as possible. For whatever reason, Nikke right now is going through “anti-power creep” from the developers and it’s throwing the community in a weird loop. I’ve always offered a simple solution: pull who you like looking at. Everything else is a bonus! Lots more nuance in the audio blog. Thanks to Skyjiv being the hero every patch doing the math.
