I love fun travel stories, and this week we have one from Ryan & Shane of Buzzfeed Unsolved fame (or infamy). It’s a long video, so the story starts at 30:00 minutes into the actual explanation of what chaos insued. If Watcher / Buzzfeed Unsolved sounds familiar and had drama - it did. I speak on it in the audio blog, but it’s long blown over and they’ve course corrected since.
Watching videos like the one above always remind me how actually stupid I am. I really am envious of people who actually contribute to society in one form or another that do insane attention to detail stuff. It’s the same feeling when I watch an in-depth video about architecture or structural engineering, chemistry, etc. Thanks to polymatt for the awesome restoration video.
It’s been a million years since I played Stardew Valley at launch, so I thought I would revisit the game during a dry spell of content. I’m happy to see that the modding community is still quite active. None of the anime mods did it for me back in the day, but somewhat recently TheMud decided to release their edits and I have to say it’s quite the eye-candy. They have two mods that change all the dateable characters and working on a 3rd for NPCs. There is also another mod by TwoCircles that changes all NPCs into women similar to TheMud’s styling you can find here.
Artist is Nekoguchi
Artist of the week is the talented Nekoguchi who draws in a very familiar manga style that I grew up with. It’s a comforting “old school” look that has a lot of human touches you don’t get nowadays with AI and heavy filtering. Please send a kind word to any of Nekoguchi’s socials if you like their stuff!
