We’re closing out the last week of October with the final spooky update. All things scary and terrifying do not necessarily need to be the unknown. I often always tell folks I’ll gladly sleep in a graveyard or haunted asylum then on a park bench in a crime ridden city. I know I haven’t been actively talking about FGC tournaments in a while. That’s because I personally feel a lot of the major events have been a bit “watered down” as of late in terms of prestige and competition. Someone a while back had mentioned that the Developer / Publisher circuit one day would carry more prize money and prestige than the ones ran by organizations. I feel that reality has finally come to pass in 2025. In any case, the finals for the SNK circuit is on Halloween weekend, and you can find more details about it here.

I know the image above can invoke eye rolling and sophomoric criticism, but I needed to post it anyway cause that’s why you’re all here! Megabonk came out last month and has been extremely successful financially and critically. That’s a fancy way of saying it’s good. Tools have been created to import custom character skins into the game, and basic examples are shown above. As the interest continues, I’m sure a lot of cool looking stuff will be down the road.

I think TwistingToxic has claimed the most amount of recommendations on my site over the years. I’ve maybe recommended him over ten times by now?
