Persona 5: The Phantom X was recently released globally on both Android and Steam. I’m not going to even attempt to make commentary on this game whether it’s good or not since the fandom for SMT / Persona in general is pretty divisive to say the least. So if you rather not play the game, you can watch a full playthrough of the story above thanks to Faz. If you do want to play the game, ignore the video and choose your preferred platform to hop on in!

There’s a ton of releases this week, but none of them are necessarily “new” in more ways than one. A recent title called Silver & Blood has had its fair share of controversies, and I’ll leave it at that. My motto on the site is simple; if a game is not a crypto / NFT farm disguised as a game, I tend to be neutral at worse. Cause at the end of the day you can play something with a throw away e-mail or guest account and not spend anything on it while being entertained. I rather leave the user to decide what is best for them, but inform them none the less if things are less than what they appear to be if possible.

Another global release of an older game, Umamusume launched the same week (also on Steam) amongst many others. I’ll be brief and to the point as always; games that allow you to re-roll tend to not make my “shit list” right away. Bonus points if they make the process rather quick and offer a “delete account” button to keep things civil amongst all parties. Although I was never a huge fan of the game’s design choices, I am a fan of their willingness to allow rerolling quickly. Credit goes where it is due, thank you developers!

I was short on time this week since I have a monthly dropping shortly after this update. So I dug back into the Essenger well of music and found this track for all of you to listen to. If you never heard of Reggaeton, it’s probably something you’ll come across sometime in your life if you travel to anywhere in South America. Add an anime waifu thumbnail and my beloved synth sound to the mix, and you get a short but horizon broadening song!

Artist of the week is a newcomer to the site by the way of SuaviCream. I welcome anyone who likes the goblin waifus of course, so feel free to check them out on their Patreon or X / Twitter.
